Not many people can say that they were chosen by their first show dog, but I can. Eleanor was my loaner puppy from my mentor for me to learn with and she was supposed to go back to him eventually. But our connection was undeniable from the start and one might even say that she imprinted on me the moment she saw me. It was very easy to see that even as a little puppy and being a novice myself, we brought the best out in each other. My mentors decided that she was meant to find to be with me. They were not wrong at all - we have received compliments from several judges and fellow exhibitors on our mutual adoration for each other since day 1, which is evident in all that we do.

Eleanor is the most confident yet affectionate puppy I have met to date. She enjoys meeting new people and loves everything life has to offer. She has a firecracker of a personality and her presence in the show ring is undeniable. Her confidence inspires me, and I'm so glad she chose me. She has a gorgeous expression with beautiful dark brown eyes everyone seems to fall in love with, a correct thick coat, a well furred tail carried over her back, a scissor bite with full dentation and gorgeous, effortless movement! She is of correct proportions as per the breed standard, and is a wonderful representation of 39 years of hard work and breeding by Bearhug Kennels.
